Destiny: The Taken King Expansion (09/15/2015) Details and Trailer

The Third Expansion for Destiny entitled The Taken King releases Tuesday September 15, 2015. For those of you new to the game, this is the perfect time to get into it, as the Legendary Edition includes the Destiny game with all three expansions including The Taken King. Otherwise, if you already own the game and all other expansions, you can get it for $39.99 digitally. Additionally, Gamestop is offering a collector’s edition with additional content. There is also a Limited Edition PS4 console available.

The Taken King Legendary Edition includes the Destiny base game, The Dark Below (Expansion I), House of Wolves (Expansion II), and The Taken King (Expansion III). This is perfect for those of you new to the game, getting it for another system, or if you already traded it in. This is still a pretty good deal if you don’t have any of the other expansions. Those of you who bought the Limited or Collector’s edition of the original game, or bought the expansion passes already may be better off buying the $40 Taken King expansion by itself.
