Disney Infinity 3.0 (8/30/15) is out now! Details and trailer.
I hope you’re a Star Wars fan because at it’s initial release, you may have trouble buying the stand alone disc for this game and instead have to buy a Star Wars themed bundle. You have a choice of either the Starter Bundle (for all consoles), or the Saga Bundle which is only available for PlayStation consoles, and currently is the only way to get the Boba Fett figure. And of course, you can choose from several individual figures exclusive to Disney Infinity 3.0 (you can see the full list below).

Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Saga Bundle ($114.99 MSRP)

All Disney Infinity figures are forward compatible, meaning that Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 figures will work with limited functionality with Disney Infinity 3.0. Unfortunately, the 3.0 figures will not work with older versions of the software.
